2012 CONTEST
Win a trip to ASQ World Quality Conference May 21-23, 2012 in Anaheim, CA!
The section is holding a contest to encourage involvement by section members in our yearly events. It is open to all Section 621 members in good standing (dues paid). The Section Officers are not eligible to win.
Points will be awarded for attendance at meetings, tours, and learning events, ASQ certifications attained, and committee involvement and planning endeavors. To be considered you must earn a minimum of 600 points.
The prize will be attendance and travel expenses to the ASQ World Quality Conference in Anaheim CA on May 21-23 2012.
Rules:
Different activities throughout the year will be assigned point values. Attendance at an event is worth a certain amount of points; however, chairing a project will garner more points. A person can accumulate points towards winning the contest as follows:

Leadership Officers of the Section are ineligible to win. Persons must accumulate at least 600 points to be eligible to win the contest. The person with the highest points over 600 will win the contest. The winner will be reimbursed for expenses for travel, lodging, and meals up to $900 (plus registration) with appropriate documentation. Person submitting their points must confirm that they can attend the conference, prior to the March 2012 Section Leadership meeting, and before the award will be made. The conference registration will be completed by the section to take advantage of the early-bird registration. In the event of a tie, both persons would earn registration paid for by the section, but the travel funds will be split. The Section Leadership may vote to provide additional funding for travel expenses.
